Everyone is reporting on this ... so I'll defer you to the Apple.com website.
But I will be in line on Friday to get an iPhone 3G!
Today I attended a Microsoft Launch of Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Now even though it's all pretty much over 'my' head, something else happened.
They gave me full versions of these software titles -- and then? They threw in a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate with SP-1 already installed. Is this the release for SP-1?
THE WEB ADDICTION SONG
(sung to the tune of "Winter Wonderland")
Doorbell rings, I'm not listnin'
From my mouth, drool is glistnin'
I'm happy although my boss let me go
Happily addicted to the Web
All night long, I sit clicking
Unaware time is ticking
There's a beard on my cheek
Same clothes for a week
Happily addicted to the Web
Friends come by, they shake me saying "Yo man!"
"Don't you know tonight's the senior prom?"
With a listless shrug I mutter "No man
I just discovered Mikey's Funnies dot com."
I don't phone, don't send faxes
Don't go out, don't pay taxes
Who cares if someday
They drag me away?
Happily addicted to the Web
PASS IT ON!
Yeah, you can send this Funny to anybody you want. And, if you're REAL nice, you'll tell them where you got it! www.mikeysFunnies.com
Here is a fantastic and comprehensive article for anyone wanting to learn how to do screencasts. It comes from Techsoup.org ...

If you ever have a chance to visit a Bose store be sure to check out all of their demos. They are set up in a way that makes you WANT to give them a lot of money ;-)
Two things that I don't like about these headphones:
1. The little plastic ear piece rubber thingys. Although they have a modified replacement available that you can order from them (free) -- they still can come off easily. If you lose one, the headphones are useless until you can get another. Not fun.
2. The idea of these headphones are to allow you to hear the outside world. That's fine if you are walking around or biking or something. But on an airplane? Forget about it. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area where we can take public transit (a subway) -- they don't work well there either. Actually they work, but you really have to turn up the volume and then you get into the whole hearing issue.
Have you tried these? Leave a comment, we would love to have more input here.

I have to tell you, I just made a good decision. After I bought my Macbook, I wanted to go completely portable and yet be connected to the internet.
My old phone was the Treo 700w with the Windows Mobile 5 operating system. I really liked it, but to be truthful, it had those "windows" quirks. For me, that was not too much of a problem, and I lived with it.
Well, I got an Aircard from Sprint and then began to read about tethering (connecting by USB) a Treo to my laptop and getting broadband-like speeds.
To make a long story short, you can't do that with a Windows mobile device. So I took the Aircard back and bought a Treo 755p. It is very cool and I must admit, the Palm Operating system has become much more stable than I remember it from about 5 years ago. Now I can connect via bluetooth (unwired) at about 700 kbs or via USB and get about 1200 kbs.SWEET!
I took back my Aircard and got on their AllAccess special for unlimited data. I am only paying about $10 more a month to have unlimited on my phone AND the link-up to my new Macbook has unlimited as well. Woot!
I just ordered it! I have been using Adobe products, especially Photoshop since the early 90's. That's why I am excited to have the new CS3 version coming. I actually have CS2 right now -- and it is fantastic. There would be no need to upgrade except that I recently bought a Macbook, so I needed to get the full Mac program.
Are you using CS3 yet? If so, what features do you use/like the best right now? Leave a comment below.

Even though I always like the latest and "greatest" tech out there I believe it is time to wait concerning the iPhone. Apple has great ideas, fantastic products, and wonderful design.
But what about waiting seems appealing to me? Well, just like the Zune ;-) I think the Gen 2 iPhone will be much better. The first batch out ALWAYS brings out things that all those designers, engineers, and testers never thought of.
Plus... costs may come down a little, applications are yet to be designed, and oh yeah ... what would I get for Christmas if I picked one up right now??
What do you think? Leave a comment to this post!

I picked up a wireless keyboard and mouse for my Macbook. (By the way I still have to wait for 7-10 days before it ships!)
As a "switcher" I know I have a lot to learn about the differences between the PC and the Mac. Do you know where I should start?

This is the Olympus FE-230 Digital Camera. I got this one for my birthday back in April and it has already dropped in price by like $50.00 (At Amazon it is less than $170.00 -- May 30, 2007)!
I am very happy with this "point-and-shoot" camera. It does video clips with sound and with a 2 GIG card (it comes with a 128 meg card) it actually can hold over 1100 high-quality pictures.
We recently bought the Dell 2400MP for our church. Our old projector that was replaced was only 1200 lumens bright and cost us $4200 back in the day. But the prices, like much technology, has gotten much more attractive in this category.
